We are upholding Nepali traditions and heritage

Our skilled artisans are keeping the Nepali tradition of handcrafted pashmina alive and vibrant.

The tradition of handlooming has been passed down from generation to generation in Nepal, and we are proud to continue to support this tradition at Pashmina Looms(Sustainable pashmina industry in nepal). Our choice to use handlooms instead of automated power looms has several benefits. Using a handloom enables the formation of air pockets in the pashmina. This creates a unique combination of lightness, softness, and ultimate warmth. By employing Nepali artisans, we are also preventing the loss of a threatened Nepali tradition. The rewards of this process show in the rare beauty of the pashmina we bring to you.

We take the art of pashmina seriously

Quality pashmina begins with the basics.

The term ‘pashmina’ has become ubiquitous for something exclusive and rare. But growing demand for pashmina has led to the production and distribution of compromised products, often passed off as real pashmina. Few companies maintain the integrity and craft that established pashmina as an unrivaled material. We are proud to be one.

We collaborate with expert textile engineers to carefully select raw materials. Our uncompromising staff work with advanced technologies to inspect raw materials to ensure the end product is of the highest quality.

We stock only SGS lab-certified Mongolian yarn. Yarns range from 12 to 16 microns in diameter, with the finest yarns between 14 and 15 microns. All of our fabrics undergo additional in-house testing using an optical fiber analyser. We ensure that the diameter and length of the yarn we use matches the demands of each design.

We have a dedicated research lab where designers, textile engineers, and textile experts continuously experiment and innovate to ensure we are providing you with the latest styles and are using the best techniques. We fuse progressive technologies with the special craft of making pashmina in Nepal for added elegance, beauty, and comfort.

We can do it all

Our skilled team can produce a range of designs – including scarves, stoles, throws, and blankets – and colors based on your needs. We specialize in weaving, stencil printing, and hand embellishments

We are efficient

Our dynamic workflow is reliable and
efficient, ensuring we deliver the finest Nepali pashmina to you on time

We use advanced ERP technology that integrates the production process with digital supervision software. At each stage of production, the item’s status is digitally monitored. This allows our team and clients to track the progress of each product toward final delivery.

This digital tracking process goes hand-in-hand with rigorous quality control. There are ten checkpoints along our production cycle. At each checkpoint, our dedicated staff inspect products for inconsistencies or irregularities.

Our dedicated risk management team will handle any challenges that arise during the manufacturing and product delivery process.

Weaving

Our shawls are handloomed to preserve the softness that would otherwise deteriorate on a high-vibration power loom. Handlooming requires uniformity and utmost precision. We massage our woven products to release stiffness before checking that their quality meets the highest international standards.

Stencil Printing

We create vibrant patterns that suit both traditional and contemporary designs. We create designs according to order, and maintain a high level of quality during the printing process.

Hand Embellishment

Extra care is put into our embroidery, done with gold and silver wires. Our sequin work, beading, and quilting is made to the design ordered, adding a distinct touch to garments.

We Give back

We are committed to supporting development within our own society while delivering the finest Nepali pashmina to you.
